A recent new customer of mine called this style of clothing "New Age Matriarchal Druidwear" & said she had recently taken to dressing this way for work. She is a lawyer/executive in a large law firm, & she commented on the way her "power dressing" in this style changed the energy in her office. To me this is one of the very most central things to understand about how we present ourselves.

To notice the world is screaming for change takes no special awareness, but we all find ourselves wondering what avenues to take. For me art & beauty are two of the most significant ways to enrich my life & my spiritual awareness. Another absolute is authenticity. Are we dressing in a certain style because we feel we have to? Time to drop that & explore what it is that feeds our own souls & try to bring every element of our lives into line with that.

I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to everyone who has participated with me in everyway. There are so many special people, women & men, who have helped me to realize my dreams that I could probably devote an entire website/workshop to thanks, & perhaps as I get more facile with this form that is just what I will do. August would certainly have to be "Augusta" month, dedicated to the wonderful friends I see in West Virginia, & Ann Yates, one of the luminaries of my Southern experience.

One of the most helpful,original, & just plain lovely people that my work has graced me with meeting has been Joan Borysenko, & I just wanted to take advantage of these moments of type under my fingers to express special thanks to her. Her books could tell you much more about why you should be wearing these clothes than I ever could.

I am leaving for Jamaica till April 2nd, to explore the inside of myself in the beautiful harmony of the Caribbean light. I expect to be returning with new colors & new insights, Goddess willing, & you should be able to find me at home in Swarthmore, & at the Omega Conference in NYC April 12 -14.
